Melissa’s mom gave us a call while we were on our Anniversary in Charleston, SC. I’m glad I decided to answer the phone, don’t worry Paul was napping, that makes it ok. Mrs. Beth was so passionate about this being an amazing wedding day for Melissa and Trey. She shared with us her vision and her intention to surprise Melissa with a helicopter ride to her venue, The Barn at Bridlewood. We didn’t find out till months later, that Melissa was the Maid of Honor in one of our recent weddings!

The day arrived and it was a beautiful one. Sunshine and cool winds made for perfect weather. Before that day, we had spoken with Melissa on the phone, but hadn’t met her or Trey. They live in Greensboro, NC. We arrive at The Bay Bed and Breakfast, one of the cutest places you can get ready in Hattiesburg. We had a blast hanging out with all of Melissa’s girls, they were a fun mix of personalities. Melissa’s precious hair stylist, Kelly Sager, prayed over her causing everyone to end up in tears. After a beautiful first look, Mrs. Beth sent Melissa and her sisters on a ride with the sweetest letters. They arrive at a helicopter that rode them around for a bit until they would arrive at the ceremony where guest were waiting with candles outside.
