There is so much we could share with you that we are in love with right now… but we’ll save some for another day!

Here are some of our favorite photography things at the moment:

The expodisc is amazing! Some friends of ours have been using it and we just knew we had to try it out too. Being wedding photographers we have found that do not use it 100% of the time. There are certain moments that we don’t have time to change our settings. Therefore we usually only set it up in churches or reception venues that we are using. The rest of the time we use our instincts for setting white balance.

What can I even begin to say about Lightroom??? I will admit that in the beginning I was using Photoshop and completely hated the idea of switching over to Lightroom. I didn’t want to have to learn anything new! I thought that stopping to learn something new would slow down my editing time even more. Once I broke down and tried Lightroom I cut my culling and editing hours down TREMENDOUSLY! I even edited a wedding in ONE day recently! VSCO FILM is rocking my world right now! We are so glad to have stumbled upon these amazing presets. They give our images exactly the look we are wanting without going overboard. Using these in Lightroom is super super easy too!

PASS is one program I feel we could not do without! We are so thankful for the Showit community for creating such amazing systems to help our photography business. Our clients never fail to fall in love with the PASS gallery. We’ve started using PASS rather than sending our clients a branded disc. The way the gallery is broken down into categories allows for a much simpler and appealing viewing system than a disc of 500 images. You know you wanna check it out!

Jesus Culture has been one of our favorite bands as of lately. We can’t get over the amazing voices and lyrics of this group of folks. Their songs can take you into a worship time like no other! If you’ve never heard of them be sure to check out the songs, You Won’t Relent, Where You Go, I Go, and Fire Fall Down.

My (April) Mailchimp t-shirt has to be my most loved shirt ever. I can’t get over how comfortable this free t-shirt is! Paul signed up to get one free awhile back via Mailchimp’s Facebook page. He got it for himself but I immediately stole it from him. I believe it’s about time to get me a new one. I wear it with pajama pants, skirts, or jeans. It’s that amazing.

Love me or hate me I have just started watching Star Wars for the first time. So far I’ve only finished the first one. I have to admit I’m kinda in love with all the little creatures on the movie. I don’t even know what you call them yet. I am a little frustrated that the Sith killed Qui-Gon Jinn so easily. =( I kinda had a crush. I’m excited to see what’s to come for little Anakin though. Crossing my fingers he isn’t evil! Don’t tell me!

This Beach Babe sea salt spray is pretty awesome! For a gal that adores the beach, this is perfect. I’ve always been attached to the smell, the air, the stickiness, and everything that comes with being near the beach. The smell of this stuff is nothing short of incredible! Coconut anyone!? It makes my hair look like I’ve been laying out and rolling around on the beach! I love that!
