C’mon Fall…you can do it!

Ahhh…I can feel it.  Can you feel it?  It’s fall.  She’s in the air.  I woke up this morning and rushed out the door with my 2% Milk and my breakfast bar (with chocolate) in hand.  I pressed “G” in the elevator and a couple of opened doors later I FELT IT.  The air wasn’t sticky and (dare I say it) it wasn’t hot.  It was comfortable.  There aren’t many times during the year it seems when the weather is just right, but it was just right this morning.

I know it’s technically still summer and by 9 o’clock if you walked out side, a hanky would be needed to dab your forehead.  The fallish goodness didn’t last long, but it was a great reminder of what is to come!  I can remember growing up the leaves would blow off of this HUGE 1,723 year old oak tree that was in my front yard during the fall.  I would get out there and try to catch them with my brothers.  It’s silly the little things we remember like that isn’t it?  Of course the fun didn’t last long because not long after that dad would hand over the rake and want us to get to work.  Boo dad!  Not fun!  Way to pull out in front of me in a Mack truck when I’m driving down memory lane…

I guess this is a bit of a premature post regarding the glorious next season that is Fall.  It was just on my mind and thought I’d share.  Plus, don’t even get me started on the good fishing that’s around the corner…ooowwweeeee boy!
