Meredith, also known as "Meme", is an accomplished local artist, photographer, and hair stylist (this might just come in handy on the wedding day). She studied art at Northwestern State University and has been perfecting her style for 8 years. She has been an associate with April and Paul going on two years now. Her favorite subjects to capture are her two daughters, Willa and Edie. She loves playing the piano, going to Pure Barre, chocolate, and hanging out with her family.
Capturing the most perfect, authentic moments isn’t just about the clicking a button at the right time. It’s so much more than that. We believe that photography should be one of the most important or the most important vendor choices of your wedding day. The flowers will be beautiful, the cake will be tasty (but eaten quickly) and you’ll ride away from the venue waving back at family…however, the only thing that will remain will be the photos. Let us help ensure they are worth looking back at.
Saturday weddings begin at $2,800. On average our clients spend $4,000 on their wedding photography. Friday and Sunday weddings receive a 20% discount. Our most popular options include both of us as your photographers, an engagement session, and a beautiful wooden box with your favorite prints. Message us to discuss the details, we’d love to tailor the perfect wedding option for you.
April and Paul are beyond phenomenal. From the very moment we had our first skype session, I knew they were not only going to capture the most important moments in our lives, but also be our friends. They truly are what it means to be creative. Every bit of their essence just screams it. They are the one of the most giving and loving couples I have ever met. Every time we were with them or talked to them they were so genuine and kind. Their professionalism is beyond anything I have experienced! Their style is exactly what we were looking for. Everything about our photos just makes my heart and soul happy. I can't wait to have them capture our lives again.
April and Paul are phenomenal, both their picture taking skills and personalities. I honestly feel so lucky to have had them shoot our wedding. They captured the whole day perfectly, from the smallest of moments, that I had nearly forgotten about, to the largest of moments. I feel like I'm re-living the day again when I look at all the awesome candid shots they caught! They weren't afraid to get wet or dirty, they really put in effort to get to know us and our guests and they even helped clean up the morning after the wedding. They traveled all the way from Mississippi to a small northern town in Ontario, Canada for our wedding! Hands down some of the best wedding photographers you'll come across.
April and Paul make you feel like you have known them for years. They are completely dedicated to making your day run smoothly and they have a beautiful vision for their pictures. I am so happy with our pictures and would suggest them to everyone who is getting married in MS or surrounding areas. They work so beautifully together and make you feel beautiful with their work!
We require half down along with your contract to book the date. The remaining half is due 30 days prior to the wedding date.
You can expect to have your photos 4-6 weeks after your wedding date. It’s possible you could see them sooner!
Of course! We love the album design process and delivering something tangible to our couples. Our albums are leather bound and come from one of the top album companies in the world.
We both shoot with Nikon D750's along with a backup D700. We use a variety of prime and telephoto zoom lenses.
As a general rule, matching isn’t cool anymore. We recommend wearing something that makes you feel awesome and comfortable. High heels aren’t recommended for the ladies due to adventuring. We recommend a couple of different outfits for the session. This time is about you two hanging out, not showing off your wardrobe.
For sure! You will receive an average of 100 photos per hour. The only thing you won’t get are duplicates or those accidental blinks! Who wants those?
