To say we were looking forward to this engagement session is the understatement of the century. Joanna is one of our most treasured babysitters. She has loved on and cared for our precious babies like no one else could.

We spent many nights after getting home from weddings discussing Joanna’s love life. Where she wanted to be at the moment and what she longed for in a spouse. When we found out about Daniel we were so thrilled for her. We grew a little distant once she got a job as a speech pathologist. Sadly, babysitting didn’t fit in her schedule!

Then one day out of nowhere we received a text about the proposal. Such precious news for us to hear about someone we care so much about. We were able to meet Daniel at our home for the first time and then got to know him even more during their engagement session. We could see immediately how happy he made Joanna. The way he made her laugh so easily was beautiful.

Joanna told us that she contemplated whether or not to hire us due to how comfortable she’d feel smoochin’ in front of our cameras. We are honored that she chose us to capture this one of a kind season in her life.
